• Braids are back and adding one or two braids to your prom hairstyle will add detail to the design. Incorporate braids by making it a cool accent for your half updo or create an updo focused on the braids.
• The half up/half down style creates an elegant and dressy look, pushing hair off the face and allowing your locks to flow in a cascade of curls. Try an asymmetrical style by pulling hair over to one side and over the shoulder for the latest red carpet trend!
• Don’t forget to add hair accessories! Bobby pins are a girl's best friend! Use colored pins to keep your hair in place and sparkly ones to add a little glitz. For a full- proof way to add glamour to your look, try on a beaded or rhinestone headband which could add a diva touch!
• Short hair can be prom chic and versatile by adding waves or curls. Pull the sides back and secure with sparkly barrettes and create loose waves or curls on the top of the head. The more texture the better, so separate the waves/curls with your fingers for a tousled, sassy look!
